Press release: The impacts on civilian areas and casualties caused by unprovoked Thailand’s armed aggression on Cambodia’s sovereign territory from 6:00 pm on 13 December until 7:00 am on 14 December 2025

On 14 December 2025, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release on the impacts on Cambodian citizens and civilian areas caused by Thailand’s aggression, covering the period from 6:00 PM on 13 December until 7:00 AM on 14 December 2025. The ministry reported that there were no new civilian casualties, keeping the total figures at 11 killed and 59 injured. The total number of displaced families increased by 1,140, reaching 114,106 families or 384,101 people (an increase of 3,817 individuals) across seven provinces: Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey, Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Pursat, Koh Kong, and Siem Reap. Numerous civilian infrastructures, including homes, schools, pagodas, ancient temples, roads, and bridges, continued to sustain damage, and essential public services were almost entirely suspended due to Thailand’s intensified attacks on civilian areas.
